The Script Tease Project 2012, May 28-June 3

After a very successful inaugural run last year, the Script Tease Project by the improv troupe The National Theatre of the World returns with another week of their very popular brand of improvised plays in collaboration with local writers.

Tonight, the run kicks off with Maja Ardal, and Icelandic-Canadian playwright. She, like the other writers, will be asked to provide the first two pages of a play. The troupe, consisting of Matt Baram, Ron Pederson and Naomi Sniekus, will then improvise the remainder of the play in the style of the writer.

The shows will continue all week with an 8pm show every weekday and two shows a day on Friday to Sunday. The other invited writers are Michael Healey, Anusree Roy, Sky Gilbert, Karen Hines, Lee MacDougall, Scott Thompson, Adam Pettle, Ins Choi and John Murrell.

The Script Tease Project runs until Sunday June 3 at the Theatre Passe Muraille, 16 Ryerson Avenue.
