pUNK films & The Royal present the $1000 Feature Film Challenge Screenings - 1K WAVE - October. 11, 12, and 13, at The Royal. Purchase ADVANCE TICKETS.

On May 22, Ingrid Veninger (pUNK Films Inc.) and Stacey Donen (The Royal/Theatre D) initiated the $1000 Feature Film Challenge for Toronto-based filmmakers. Amazingly, 34 filmmaking teams took up the Challenge. Five were selected.

On June 25, 2012, the five $1000 feature films were green-lit for production and Toronto’s 1K WAVE was born. The films were shot in July/August, editing and post-production happened in August/September, and now the films will be presented over three nights at The Royal on October 11th, 12th and 13th - featuring Filmmaker Q&A’s.

* 50% of the Box Office Revenue will fuel the next $1K Feature Challenge.  All screenings at The Royal. 608 College Street.  www.theroyal.to
