1st Canadian International Comedy Festival, March 21-25


Today, the inaugural Canadian International Comedy Festival kicks off with a show by Bryan Callen, and group shows hosted by Scott Thompson and Fraser Young.

Performers over the next few days include Sean Cullen, 30 Rock's Tracy Morgan, former Jackass Steve-O, Reggie Watts and Debra DiGiovanni. There is a Bite TV all-star show, a musical comedy performance, and a Cool Chicks of Comedy night.

The 1st Canadian International Comedy Festival continues until March 25 in Toronto. Participating venues are Absolute Comedy, Comedy Bar, The Music Hall, Glenn Gould Studio, Sony Center, Second City, The Underground Cinema and Yuk Yuk's.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Grab your tissues and get ready to LYAO as the very first Canadian International Comedy Fest sets loose in Toronto, March 21. Presented by Bite, the five-day laugh-a-thon serves up a star-studded lineup of comics taking the stage at concert venues and funny clubs throughout the city.  From stand-up to improv, local to global, audiences will vie for the last laugh as they take in performances from the likes of 30 Rock's Tracy Morgan, SNL's Chris Kattan, star of Jackass and Wildboyz Steve-O, comedian/musician Reggie Watts, Comedy Central's Nick Thune, comedic mastermind Sean Cullen, creator of the satirical shorts “The Amazing Racist” Ari Shaffir, MTV's “Death Valley” star Bryan Callen, After Hours creator Kenny Robinson, host of HBO Canada's “Funny As Hell” Jon Dore, and many, many more.
