Heavy MTL 2011

HEAVY MTL is knocking at our door! THE premier metal and hard rock festival is finally here! This Saturday and Sunday Kiss, Disturbed, Motörhead, Billy Talent, Godsmack and many others take over Parc Jean-Drapeau for what promises to be a memorable weekend of music and sunshine. Great music, good weather and the best rock fans for miles: What more can you ask for?

CINÉ-MÉTAL : Start the fun tonight
After the success of Ciné-Métal in 2010, Heavy MTL brings you 2 nights of FREE films July 21 & 22. These will take place at Place de la Paix, under the stars, as opposed to indoors.
Place de la Paix is located on St. Laurent Blvd, in the Carrefour des Mains part of the Quartier des spectacles (between Ste. Catherine & René-Lévesque, adjoining the Société des arts technologiques).

The Ciné-Métal nights celebrate explosive music with METAL: A HEADBANGER’S JOURNEY by Banger Films (producers of Global Metal, RUSH: Beyond the Lighted Stage and Flight 666,among others) whose reputation is second to none. The weirdo cult classic HEAVY METAL PARKING LOT, filmed in the parking lot of a Judas Priest concert in 1986, will serve as the opening film of both evenings.

A great way to kick off your musical weekend!
