Call for submissions: Shorts That Are Not Pants

The quarterly short film screening series in Toronto known as Shorts That Are Not Pants has put out its first call for submissions to Canadian and international filmmakers. Previously, its screenings were chosen through a partnership with Future Shorts and the National Film Board of Canada.

They are seeking short films of up to 20 minutes in length from filmmakers anywhere. They welcome all genres and will try to give feedback whenever possible.

There is no deadline as it is an ongoing screening series. The next screening is on July 13 with a program that includes Bang, At the Formal, A Morning Stroll, Guest, Notes on Biology, We'll Become Oil, Street Vendor Cinema, Tumult and Fireworks.

Films submitted will be considered for screening at their October screening or later.
