22nd annual Producers Guild Awards - nominees

One month after announcing their 2011 documentary nominees, the Producers Guild of America (PGA) unveiled the remainder of their nominations for the 22nd Annual Producers Guild Awards. As the Oscars have recently done, they selected 10 nominees for their Darryl F. Zanuck Award, the PGA's equivalent of a Best Picture award. The choices include all of the presumed Oscar front-runners, such as Black Swan, The King's Speech, Inception, True Grit and of course, The Social Network.

The last two films have prolific producer Scott Rudin competing against himself. He has already been announced as the recipient of the honourary David O. Selznick award.

The PGA's other previously announced honourary awards will be given to James Cameron (Milestone Award), Laura Ziskin (Visionary Award), and the producing team of Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman (the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television). The 3-D technology company RealD will receive the PGA's Vanguard Award.

The 2011 Producers Guild Awards ceremony will take place on January 22, 2011 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Judd Apatow will host the event.
