Free screening of Overheard 2

In celebration of May being Asian Heritage Month, the Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival hosts a number of events including a free screening tonight of Felix Chong and Alan Mak's crime drama Overheard 2. It is a sequel in name only, since the main cast is the same as in Overheard but their characters are not.
Manson Law (Ching Wan Lau), a celebrated stockbroker in Hong Kong is injured in a car accident. The police, led by Inspector Jack Ho (Louis Koo), discovers a military surveillance device in the car wreck. Meanwhile, the wiretapper Joe (Daniel Wu) is unveiling his extensive plan that targets the mysterious financial conglomerate, the Landlord Club. The fate of these three men soon intertwines in the cat-and-mouse game that may bring down the entire stock market. -- Distribution Workshop
The screening takes place at 7pm at Isabel Bader Theatre.
